Born in Middletown, OH and reared in Dayton, OH, Rev. Chance A. Clark is one who is committed to the building of God’s kingdom and the edification of God’s people. He is also committed to education. In May 2016, he completed his Associate of Arts degree from Sinclair College in Dayton, OH and in May 2018, he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management from the historic Wilberforce University in Wilberforce, OH. Rev. Clark is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity degree at the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH. He is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Rev. Clark’s solid Christian foundation was laid at the United Missionary Baptist Church in Middletown, OH under the pastorate of Pastor Gregory Tyus and was then led to Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church, Trotwood, OH under the pastorate under Pastor Hence C. Coats. While serving at Pleasant Green, Rev. Clark was ordained a Deacon in November 2006. He was later officially called to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the Mount Enon Missionary Baptist Church, Dayton, OH, under the pastorate of Pastor Cory J. Pruitt in September 2014.
While serving at Mt. Enon, Rev. Clark has served as the Worship Leader, Youth Pastor, and as the Executive Pastor. In July 2024, Rev. Clark was voted unanimously to serve as the Interim Pastor of the Middle Run Baptist Church in Xenia, OH where he served for 4 months until November 2024 where he was again unanimously voted to serve as the Pastor.
God has equipped Rev. Clark with all the tools necessary to do the work of the Kingdom. He is a firm believer that “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
